IT Training and Placement Services - Denver

17% of 16 to 24 year-olds in Colorado are unemployed.

To reduce unemployment and supply companies with qualified IT talent, Denver-based company Tuliva Inc. is partnering with the Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center Youth Council and the State of Colorado to provide IT training for youth between the ages of 16 and 21.

Youth employment benefits society and increases individuals’ lifetime earnings potential.

What is it?

A 12-week training program to prepare youth for entry-level programming and IT technical support positions.

Who’s it for?

Colorado youth between the ages of 16 and 21.

How does it work?

Tuliva and the Arapahoe/Douglas Workforce Center will select 34 individuals to participate in the training programs. Individuals who complete their program will earn professional certifications in information technology and will become employed in programming and IT technical support positions.

When is it?

The training starts June 29, 2015, and lasts for 12 weeks.

Where will the training take place?

All assessments, enrollments, and training will take place at Tuliva Academy, located at 2399 Blake Street, Denver, CO, 80205.

What does it cost?

There is no cost for youth to participate in the training programs. If you qualify, funding will be provided by the Arapahoe/Douglas County Youth WIA Program.

Will Tuliva provide career placement services?

Yes. Tuliva and the Arapahoe/Douglas Workforce Center are working with employers to provide

graduates with career opportunities. Students who complete the training will be eligible for career

placement through Tuliva Bridgeways.
