Baker, Cashier, Food Prep - Dudleroy's Bagels - Denver

Dudleroy's Bagels is a locally-owned, neighborhood startup, specializing in fresh-made bagels, sandwiches, soups, and local coffee. We are located in the Denver Highlands neighborhood and open daily from 6am-2pm. We are seeking part-time employees for openings as baker, cashier, or food prep for the initial opening of our business and beyond. Compensation - $8-9/hour + tips.

Baker Job Description:

The Food Prep Personnel shifts will start at various times throughout the day (the earliest shift will start at 5am). This person will work closely with the cashiers, baker, and manager. They will be responsible for prepping and mixing ingredients for use throughout the day. They will prepare bagels, deli sandwiches, and soups to order. They will be responsible for cleaning equipment and work areas. He/she will also be given other responsibility as it pertains to the Food Prep role. The food Prep Personnel will work with the manager for ordering product for their department. These people need to be able to take responsibility and follow recipes and directions with minimal supervision. This is a high volume production environment and the person must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a stressful environment.

Cashier Job Description:

The Cashier shifts will start at various times throughout the day (the earliest shift will start at 5am). This person will work closely with the food preparers, baker, and manager. This person will efficiently great customers and take orders. They will accept payment for orders and giving correct change when applicable. This person will be responsible for cleaning equipment and work areas. He/she will also assist in food preparation when necessary. He/she will also be given other responsibility as it pertains to the Cashier role. The cashier will work with the manager for ordering product for their department. This person will need to take responsibility and follow direction with minimal supervision. This is a high volume production environment and the person must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a stressful environment.
