Free Lifeguard Training - City of Aurora Parks, Recreation & Open Space

Students over the age of 15 can receive free lifeguard training and become a life guard for the summer. Employment agreement includes the following conditions:
1) Agree to work for the City of Aurora Aquatics at least 240 hours within one year of completing the Lifeguard Course.
2) Agree to work at Parklane, Moorhead and/or Del Mar Pool for the summer of 2015.
3) Pass the hiring process, physical exam and drug test (no charge)
4) If cannot pass Lifeguard Training will owe the COA Aquatics the cost of the class - $60
5) If cannot pass Lifeguard Training may not be hired by the city.
