Cashier - Guiry's paint & art supplies - Denver - PT

Guiry's, a local retailer of paint, decorating and fine art supplies is seeking a part time cashier/receptionist at our Colorado Blvd location. 2121 S. Colorado Blvd. Colorado & Evans.

Our cashiers exude a friendly and helpful image and play an important role in facilitating a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities of the Cashier include:
• Greet and assist customers
• Handle credit, check and cash transactions.
• Answer basic questions and direct customers to appropriate departments
• Assist with checking in merchandise
• Put away new merchandise -- rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed.
• Maintain department cleanliness
• Assist designers and other store staff as needed
• Position requires working at least one weekend day per week

Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere: Other strengths include:
• Positive attitude/optimistic
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Computer skills required
• Experience working with color and paint is preferred.

Compensation:
Compensation is hourly and variable based on experience.
