As a full or part time Ace Cashier and/or Sales Associate you'll play a key role in providing legendary customer service to our customers and building customer loyalty.

As an Ace Cashier you'll be responsible for operating our cash registers with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring the checkout experience is fast and friendly. This includes, but is not limited to, suggesting appropriate additional products, handling merchandise returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently, calling customers when their rain checks and special orders are in stock and counting a cash drawer before and after each shift. Comprehensive training is available for the right candidates. No experience? With the right attitude, you can get your experience from us! Want to grow? As an Ace Sales Associate you'll be responsible for providing helpful solutions to customers' home improvement needs. This includes maintaining stock, driving sales, building sales skills and product knowledge, and maintaining store safety, security and integrity. Our structured coaching and training program ensures that new Associates learn the necessary product knowledge and also become proficient at performing all store services such as mixing paint, screening, and cutting glass and keys. Associates who learn the ropes and work hard are eligible to advance!

Qualifications

* Helpful customer service skills and attitude
* Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business and customers
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
* Previous retail experience is a plus
* Candidates with previous cashiering expertise, hardware and/or retail experience, or experience in the trades deserve first consideration
