Janitor Needed (Denver)

 

Hammersmith Management is currently seeking a Janitor for one of our Hi-Rise Communities downtown.

The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and stocking all assigned public areas of the property ensuring that all procedures are completed to standards.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-1pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Check supply levels in storage closets. Complete requisition for additional supplies needed and submit to manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas. Rectify any deficiencies.
- Check carts/caddies for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems. Correct any deficiencies.
- Clean public areas, resident floors, business center, fitness center, offices and service areas using designated checklists. Ensure that cleanliness and condition of each area meets designated standards. Correct any relayed or sighted deficiencies.
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to the Assistant GM.
- Monitor and handle resident's complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring satisfaction.
- Respond to all radio/cell calls promptly.
- Document pertinent information in department logbook.
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving, check with manager prior to leaving.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Ability to pleasantly, professionally and effectively communicate residents and guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
- Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One Year Related experience in Customer Service or Hospitality preferred
