Job Summary
The Vitamin Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the vitamin department as well as training, directing and monitoring all department staff.

Responsibilities
• Ensures World Class Customer Service for every customer
• Provides science based factual knowledge about vitamins, supplements and nutrition
• Manages Inventory, ordering, merchandising, and daily department operations.
• Supervises and trains department support staff
• Preforms Opening and closing procedures store
• Responds to MOD Calls on the front-end of the stores
• Cashering as needed
• Tagging, Facing, Rotating, Cleanliness, Stocking, Backstock, and Returns
• Preforms Cycle Counts



Qualifications:
• Previous retail experience in a grocery or retail environment; natural foods background a plus.
• 1-2 years experience in vitamins/supplements and/or related experience.
• 1-2 years experience supervising others, preferred.
• Ability to manage changing priorities.
• Possesses a sense of urgency in the completion of tasks.
• Possesses excellent customer service skills.
• Is highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Ability to stay focused with the task at hand.
• Ability to take direction and follow through.
• Must be cashier trained.
• Proficient in MS word, excel and outlook.
