OVERVIEW
2013 Internships are paid and/or unpaid internships opportunities with varied hours and length, but on average require a 12-16 week commitment with a minimum of 16 hours per week.

In addition we offer opportunities for students seeking:
Academic Credit – A  partnership with educational institutions in which a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been established and are guided under supervision of a faculty member assigned within each particular major.  Academic departments have detailed guidelines and requirements that vary by major. An authorized faculty member for the major determines hours required to work, compensation, academic assignments and grading.

Capstone Projects – Allows students the opportunity to combine and integrate what they have learned during their course of study. Students work as an advisor addressing a need with city government, and work in collaboration with faculty mentors to address a specific research, policy or management issues. Projects take many different forms including developing business plans, marketing plans, surveys, interviews, data analysis, etc. The final product is completed with input from the city over a period of 4-6 months.

We encourage students pursuing academic credits, work study or capstone projects for completion of degree program to apply and we will work directly with your educational institute to develop a program that meets both the needs of the individual and their educational institution.
